Quality
An aspect that
has always been fundamental for the members of the management team of the
Clinical Analysis Office is total quality in the analytical process. For this
reason, in the Quality Assurance protocol of the Clinical Analysis Cabinet,
great emphasis is placed on the control of pre-analytical processes (sample
collection, handling of the same before processing and sample transport
procedures) and post-analytical processes. without forgetting, of course, the
analytical process itself. In this sense, a daily intra-laboratory quality
control is carried out, together with the external Quality Control of the
Spanish Association of Medical Biopathology and the Spanish Association of
Analytical Pharmacists (AEBM/AEFA).
On December 28,
2015, this laboratory obtained the AENOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE,
which has been renewed on December 28, 2021.
As has been
described in previous sections, the Laboratory has sufficient and legally
trained personnel (DUE) to carry out extractions in the work centers, traveling
for this purpose, the specialist in Clinical Analysis, or personnel with a
University Diploma in Nursing.
The Clinical Analysis Office will supply the Medical Service of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa with the material requested to perform blood draws and samples in general, including sterile containers, syringes, needles, appropriate tubes for each sample and any other material required. considers necessary, just as it has been doing for the previous twelve years in which the Clinical Analysis Office has been carrying out the clinical analyzes of the employees of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council.
